Biography
Dr Sarah Khan is an experienced medical oncologist at Icon Cancer Centre Revesby. She graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from Allama Iqbal Medical College in Pakistan and spent early years of medical training in Westmead and Bankstown-Lidcombe Hospital, NSW.
Dr Khan gained extensive medical oncology experience at NSW’s Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Liverpool and Campbelltown Hospital prior to commencing private practice at Icon Revesby. She is a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and a member of several leading Australian and New Zealand cancer trial groups. Dr Khan has an appointment as Conjoint Associate Lecturer for the Western Sydney University.
Dr Sarah Khan maintains a broad scope of clinical practice. She has extensive experience and clinical interests in treatment of malignancies including lung, breast, gynaecological, genitourinary and upper and lower GI cancers. Dr Khan has presented her work at national and international conferences in Fertility Preservation for young patients receiving chemotherapy for solid organ cancers and is currently undertaking a research project reviewing the outcome of patients with metastatic breast cancer with multiple lines of systemic therapy.
